Pain Management Information

I am 35 yrs old and 14 yrs ago I dropped 3,000 lbs of steel on my left foot. It crushed the bones in the top of my foot and squished the nerves in my foot also. I guess I’m getting older cause after getting over my injury it didn’t bother me but for the past 3 years I have had tremendous pain management in that foot. I have a great family doctor who gives me an injection once a month and a prescription for lorcet 7.5….which helps me dealing with the pain.

Pain Management Tips

Pain ManagementThe only problem is he doesn’t give me enough to get through the month. I have discussed this with him and he said he didn’t feel comfortable in changing to a higher dose or increasing the amount. I have a new insurance plan and I don’t need a referral to go see another doctor. I buy pain management medicines myself at a pharmacy without using my insurance so nobody knows or there is no record of me getting these. What doctor should I see to get something else for pain……a pain management doctor or another family physician. I’m looking for help not just pills.
