home remedy for athletes foot?
can anyone suggest a home remedy for athletes foot, I’ve tried several of the creams and nothing has helped. This is driving me nuts!
The first answer was very accurate. You do get athletes foot from diet. It is a systemic problem that reveals itself called Candida Albicans, a normally friendly bacteria that lives in the gut and then mutates into a fungus and travels in the blood stream when eating too many refined foods over a lengthy period of time.
It can manifest as dandruff, jock itch, athletes foot, leaky gut etc.
So, when the first answerer said, stop the carbohydrates, that means stop the refined white flower products that feed the fungus.
Diluted bleach thing is used to help kill a deadly fungus for rare jungle forrest frogs that are endangered. So, its known to help kill fungus.
The one answer you have about the Tea Tree Oil is also pretty good. It is a natural disinfectant and fungicide.
However, I have one for you. Put baking soda in your socks mixed in with anti fungal powder. Baking soda also snuffs out fungus.
Both diet and external treatment with your socks and clean shoes ( Do not wear your shoes bare foot) and to clean your shower floor with bleach to kill any fungus spores after you bathe and to wear flip flops in public showers to not get any trans dermal stuff from others.

Athletes Foot and Communal Showers: Some Prevention Tips
While college is a time for growth and development, some types of growth and developments are not good. That growing plague of fungi building up in college dorms is not good growth. One type of fungi, athletes foot, often pokes its dirty head in communal showers across the country. In fact, even in the most cleanest showers, there can be as much as 25 forms of bacteria and fungi growing. From truck stop showers to college dorms to shelters to everywhere in between the bacteria that causes athletes foot thrives in these places. Believe me the burning and itching of athletes foot is not worth it. So what is the easiest way to avoid catching athletes foot in public showers? Never use a public shower barefooted!
Some Athletes Foot Prevention Measures
- Try to limit the amount that your feet sweat by wearing open-toed shoes or well-ventilated shoes, such as lightweight mesh running shoes.
- Wear lightweight cotton socks to help reduce sweat.
- Wear open-toed shoes or simply light-weight socks without shoes when at home.
- Keep shoes dry by wearing a different pair each day.
- Change socks and shoes after exercise. Never wear the same pair of socks twice without washing
- Replace sole inserts in shoes/sneakers on a frequent basis.
- Replace old sneakers and exercise shoes. Throw away those running shoes with 7 different holes in them.
- To prevent jock itch: When getting dressed, put on socks before underwear.
- After any physical activity shower with a soap that has both an antibacterial and anti-fungal agent in it.
- Wear sandals when showering in those wonderful communal showers, gym lockers, and/or truck stops etc.
- Always wash feet, particularly between the toes, with soap and dry thoroughly after bathing or showering.
- Never share towels with other people. This spreads bacteria and fungi.
- If you have experienced an infection previously, you may want to treat your feet and shoes with medicated skin cream to relief the burn and a benzyl konium chloride formula to stop the fungi.

TAKE CAUTION! Athletes Foot is Extremely Contagious!
Athlete’s Foot & Jock Itch are very common AND VERY CONTAGIOUS! Most people are going to experience it at least once in some form or another and it is common in both men and women. The medical term for Athlete’s foot and jock itch is “tinea pedis” and “tinea cruris.” They are skin infections caused by the ringworm fungus Trichophyton.
Athlete’s foot can be spread from person to person and is very contagious if they share socks, clothing, or shoes. You can even catch the fungal infection from your pets. Athlete’s foot usually starts between the toes or on the bottom of your feet. It takes the right growing conditions like a warm, humid, and moist environment to allow it to actually come alive. Also, it may spread to other parts of your body.
For example: getting Jock Itch from putting clothes on without protection on infected feet can bring the infection to the groin area.
Fungal infections are named for the part of the body that is infected; however, they are all the same infection. We can understand you’re skeptical of anything new because
you have tried so many so called cures. However, just trust us you have nothing to loose. Let us show you that you will not be disappointed with our Athlete’s foot products.
If you still have not been able to change your life and begin living without pain, we sincerely hope you at least phone our Customer Service Representative at 1-866-314-8917 for a free consultation. They are highly trained and can answer all of your questions.

Welcome to All Stop Athletes Foot News
It appears that you or someone you love may have an Athlete’s Foot problem. We wanted to send you some information so you can resolve this problem quickly and find a quick way to eliminate your Athlete’s foot pain symptoms.
There are different types of Athlete’s foot.
Toe-Web (inter digital) Infection often begins with skin that is moist and pale white in color. There will be itching, burning, and a slight odor. As the infection progresses, the skin between the toes becomes scaly, peels, and even cracks. If it becomes severe a bacterial infection is usually present, which causes further skin breakdown. Toe web infections respond well to Benzolkonium Chloride treatments. All Stop’s primary ingredient is Benzolkonium Chloride in all of our fungal products. The products penetrate the skin within 15 seconds transversally (goes directly to the deep layers of the skin) to start working from the inside out.
Moccasin Type Infections may begin with minor irritation, dryness, itching, burning, or scaly skin. It then progresses to thickened, cracked skin on the sole or heel. In severe
cases, the toenails become infected and can thicken, crumble, and even fall off. Moccasin type infections are very difficult to treat, and re-infection is common if preventative measures are not taken.
Vesicular Infection usually begins with a sudden outbreak of blisters that become red and inflamed. Blisters occasionally erupt again after the initial infection. Vesicular infection is usually uncomfortable but responds easily to treatment.

Tips on Athletes Foot Prevention
We truly hope that you are not still suffering with your athlete’s foot; but if you still are, we would like to help.
We have a few tips that we would like to share with you to allow you to go on living your life to its fullest without having to worry about this nasty Athlete’s foot problem. We have a few tips to prevent athlete’s foot from coming back. Hope this helps.
We have listed some ways you can prevent athlete’s foot from coming back once you get rid of it. Imagine next week and it’s all gone.
1. Check your feet regularly. Watch for changes in color, temperature, thick, or discolored nails (a sign of fungus). Check for cracks, cuts, peeling, or scaling on the soles of your feet.
2. Wash your feet with soapy hot water regularly especially between the toes. Dry them completely. Be sure to wash them after swimming or bathing in a public area.
3. Only wear shoes that fit correctly. When buying shoes, it is best to do so late in the day because your feet tend to swell from walking on them all day. Do not wear worn out shoes. Buy shoes meant for the particular activity (running, walking, or basketball for example)
4. Don’t wear the same shoes everyday.
5. Be careful when self-medicating. Self treating often will make problems worse. Make sure you are dealing with a reputable company who is there for you when you need.
6. Always finish the full course of medication as fungus lives for days even after the symptoms have disappeared.
7. If you have Athlete’s foot, put your socks on before your underwear. This will prevent the infection from spreading to the groin area which may cause Jock Itch.
We have been sending you information about our safe products and how they work in the hopes you could get rid of your Athlete’s foot pain quickly. You do not want to suffer any
longer and I know you’re ready to eliminate Athlete’s foot from your life.
