Athletes foot?

What would you say was the best treatment for athletes foot?

A 20 min potassium permanganate soak for 5 days will clear the problem however to prevent re-occurrence i would advise washing your feet everyday (and make sure you dry thoroughly- especially between the toes), clean socks every day and ensuring that you don’t wear the same pair of shoes 24/7. Natural materials will also allow the skin to ‘breathe’. If you suffer from sweaty feet, particularly in between the toes then white spirit applied will help to dry things up. (Or the potassium permanganate for much longer)/

Welcome to All Stop Athletes Foot News

It appears that you or someone you love may have an Athlete’s Foot problem. We wanted to send you some information so you can resolve this problem quickly and find a quick way to eliminate your Athlete’s foot pain symptoms.

There are different types of Athlete’s foot.

Toe-Web (inter digital) Infection often begins with skin that is moist and pale white in color. There will be itching, burning, and a slight odor. As the infection progresses, the skin between the toes becomes scaly, peels, and even cracks. If it becomes severe a bacterial infection is usually present, which causes further skin breakdown. Toe web infections respond well to Benzolkonium Chloride treatments. All Stop’s primary ingredient is Benzolkonium Chloride in all of our fungal products. The products penetrate the skin within 15 seconds transversally (goes directly to the deep layers of the skin) to start working from the inside out.

Moccasin Type Infections may begin with minor irritation, dryness, itching, burning, or scaly skin. It then progresses to thickened, cracked skin on the sole or heel. In severe
cases, the toenails become infected and can thicken, crumble, and even fall off. Moccasin type infections are very difficult to treat, and re-infection is common if preventative measures are not taken.

Vesicular Infection usually begins with a sudden outbreak of blisters that become red and inflamed. Blisters occasionally erupt again after the initial infection. Vesicular infection is usually uncomfortable but responds easily to treatment.
