Dermatitis
Dermatitis
Dermatitis is most commonly defined as an inflammation of the skin. This condition can be caused by internal as well as external factors, allergens or irritants.
Reactions to these “triggers” can range from mild redness to raised, itchy and crusty patches that are often very visible and unsightly on the skin. It’s that reaction that causes a skin rash, redness, itchy skin, blisters, and crusting.
Diagnosis of the symptoms will determine the type of dermatitis you have as well as how to treat it.
Dermatitis effects more than 30 million people in the US alone.
