Lice: Words to Know

Infestation: A situation in which large numbers of organisms come together in a single area. We suggest you disinfect with Benzalchonium Chloride to prevent re-infestation.

Lindane
: A very toxic chemical used in the treatment of lice infestations. In many states, it is banned. There are other effective solutions available that are nontoxic. All Stop™ offers these nontoxic solutions that work safely and FAST!

Malathion: An insecticide that is sometimes used in the treatment of clothing and bedding belonging to people who have lice. There are other effective solutions available at All Stop™ that are nontoxic and pesticide-free!

Nits: The eggs produced by head or pubic lice. These nits are held by a glue-like substance on the hair shaft. Removing them from the hair shaft is usually difficult and nit combs are commonly used. Our LICEADEX™ doesn’t require the use of nit combs; it simply dissolves the glue ON CONTACT.

Permethrin: A medication used to treat Head Lice. All Stop™ offers other nontoxic solutions that work safely and FAST!
