What To Look For In Hair Products

Discover The Different Varieties Of Hair Products

Feel like you need some guidance in the hair care aisle? The variety of hair productshair products available for every possible hair type can add up to a lot of confusion.

Hair care is a major part of the beauty industry. Not only does each company provide distinct characteristics with their products, there are also additional amounts of products on the market today. It is not just about hair gels and mousse any more, we now have pomades, wax, plus serums for every hair care need ever thought of. So wither you prefer the all vegan line of Jonathan product or the tried and true Paul Mitchell hair product line there is definitely a hair care product that will provide the results one needs.

Variety of Hair Products

Hair spray: Hair spray is probably the most popular hair care product on the market. Every guy and gal has a can of hairspray somewhere in the bathroom. Hair spray is great product to have for setting the hair style. But can make the hair “crunchy” and hard. Not the best way to get the boyfriend to run his fingers through your hair! If you are going to a big event, such as prom, and need to set that perfect hair-do, hair spray is your best bet!

Hair Products #2-Gel: Gel will provide extra control and perfect to use on a daily basis to control flyaways. A lighter formula will keep hair natural looking. Use gel sparingly to avoid the wet head look.

Hair Products #2-Mousse: Mousse will not give a lot of hold but is great for curly, fine hair. Mousse is light weight so it won’t hold down the hair.

Hair Products #3-Serums: There are multiple types of serums on the market that are type specific. Serums are usually available to enhance curls, control frizz or to add shine. Use these products sparingly. On average it takes about one to one and half squirts of serum for your entire head.

Hair Products #4-: Hair balm has a lotion feel, it is lightweight and used best as a finishing product and to control frizzes.

Hair Products #5-: Pomade is great because it adds shape and texture plus gives the hair more shine. It doesn’t dry hard and can even be rework able throughout the day. With this product, always start with less and add more. Too much pomade is a bad thing!

Hair Products #6-Wax: Wax is great to add texture and details to the hair, especially if you have short hair or if you want to add some dimension to your style. Wax will give you serious hold; it is a great finishing product.

Hair Products #7 –Hair oils, herbal hair oils are the most overlooked and yet most important hair product, as they can do everything from stop breakages, frizz, grow hair faster and even stop hair loss

No matter what hair product you use you need a hair oil to complement it, a good hair oil like Mira hair oil will also clean up the chemicals left behind by commercial hair products. So get Mira hair oil

The most important rule to hair care products is to always start with less. Just like with many things in life, more is not always best. It is far easier to add hair products then it is to start over.
