Athlete’s Foot can be related to Jock Itch
Jock itch is a fungus that is most common in men. They deal with it on a daily basis and it most often goes untreated for long periods of time. In most cases it is because a person has the fungus on their feet known as Athlete’s foot and then when putting on their underwear their feet come in contact with their underwear and then the fungus gets introduced to the groin area. Because the groin is a hot spot on the body, it becomes a feeding ground for the ringworm fungus. Yes, jock itch is simply ringworm of the groin area.
It is common in our customer service department to ask customers about having athlete’s foot before getting jock itch because they are most often related. The products that are recommended for the treatment of jock itch are the All Stop Medicated Skin Cream, Healing Gel, Medicated Body Wash and Disinfectant Spray. The reason for the four step approach is because you would be killing the fungus on your body as well as in your environment.
The Medicated Skin Cream draws the fungus spores to the surface and dries them up, the Healing Gel kills fungus and bacteria on the skin, the Body wash work to wash away the fungus and bacteria on the skin, and the Disinfectant spray kills the fungus in the environment. You can use this spray in the shower, the tub or even on the floor. Fungus is something that is not just going to go away, if there is moisture there, it will thrive. Pam’s Struggle with Scabies
Have you ever asked the question, where did scabies originate from? Since I have been employed with Q-Based Healthcare for almost 3 years now, I have never been asked this question until I spoke to Pam. She is one of my customers that was having difficultly getting rid of scabies. I guess when you are infested by these little creatures, it makes you curious and want to understand them more. Possibly your doctor did not inform you enough about what scabies really are. Some people assume it is a horrible disease. Actually, it’s not, they are microscopic scabies skin mites.
Scabies is known to be very contagious, if you come in contact with an infected person or item for a short period time it can be contracted. You should be very cautious when you are traveling to unfamiliar areas if you do not want to come in contact with scabies mites. Scabies have been around for a very long time. They were first recorded 2,500 years ago and have been affecting humans ever since. Scabies mites can affect anyone, it does not matter what your personal hygiene is, your age or your race. They live on humans and transfer from one person to another.
Some Common Places where you can contract scabies are Nursing Homes, Hotels, Motels, and Crowded Public Places including your friend’s homes and theaters as well.
Pam from Austin, Texas called me for help the minute she found out she has scabies. She went on a cruise during the summer and brought back home a special guest with her — scabies mites. The scabies symptoms did not start to form on her skin until 3 to 4 weeks after the cruise. Symptoms of scabies started off under her bra line, and within weeks, the tracks seemed to be more and more. Worst yet, at night they seemed to be more active. She was constantly scratching at night and sometimes it would wake her up. Pam had to take so much Benadryl to relieve the itching and help to put her back to sleep. She couldn’t stand the torturing from these creatures so she decided to visit her Physician, who automatically diagnosed her with scabies. He prescribed her Elimites to use, but before she started the scabies treatment, she got curious and started to do more research on scabies and found our website. By the time she was through reading our website, she was glad she had decided not to use the products that the doctor had prescribed to her. She discovered Elimite is toxic just like Permethrin Cream. These are commonly prescribed lotions for scabies even despite their toxic properties.
Pam lives alone so she only had to worry about herself and her environment. Pam decide to call in and talk to me, she had many questions regarding scabies infestations. She purchased our Mitactin Scabies Combo, 32 ounce disinfectant, 32 oz. Eco Dust, and a disposable mattress cover. She wanted to make sure these little creatures will be completely gone from her life. She took every precaution and suggestion given to her, and sure enough after completing the scabies treatment and post nodular treatment, she was finally free. Even now, Pam still uses our disinfectant cleaner and in fact she still has our disposable mattress cover on her bed. She also ordered another set to bring it with her whenever she travels. Pam is not the only person that takes extra precaution, most of our staff here at Q-Based Healthcare do as well.

Let me just tell you about some of the customers with Scabies who were looking for help:
It was around the month of October 2008-I had spoken to a gentleman named, Paul. He works with the elders in a nursing home-one day he comes in contact with a lady who just got transfer there a few days ago that had these rashes on her body around the creases and he wasn’t sure what it was. The Doctor finally, diagnosed the old lady with scabies, and prescribed a scabies lotion for her as well as all the workers there. Paul was freaking out, but he decided to use the tube of cream, called Permethrin Cream – which made him feel lethargic, and really dizzy during treatment-but he decide to tolerated it. Out of curiosity, he decides to Google the scabies lotion the Doctor gave him – what he found out made him really afraid to even attempt to use the toxic scabies lotion again. He thought everything should be okay now since he had used the strong Pesticides on him. A few weeks later, he started to breakout in rashes-similar to the lady that he had been taking care of. He didn’t know what he did wrong-but yet afraid to use the Prescription scabies lotion to treat himself again. Paul decide to Google for Scabies Treatment and found us. He was so glad to hear my voice as I introduced myself. Paul started telling me about his story and his current scabies symptoms. I told him it’s a possible chance that the Permethrin cream he had used-may not work for him-due to scabies mites can become immune to the pesticides making it ineffective.. He was shocked and ask me to tell him more about scabies-I advised him about scabies, the scabies treatment and what scabies preventative methods he can do so that re-infestation does not occur. Finally, he asked me to suggest the best scabies treatment for him. I suggested to him our All Stop Mites & Scabies Combo, Disposable Mattress Cover, Hospital Grade Disinfectant, Eco-Dust, and Some Medicated Soap. Paul told me that he doesn’t mind spending money on something that will work for him-that are NOT-TOXIC lotion for scabies which in turn will save him some money in the long run and save his life from those TOXIC pesticide scabies lotion. Paul was so eager to use our products, he Overnighted the products. After 5 days of using our products, he start to see some results-the scabies biting and itching at night had almost gone away, but he was also concerned about the new rashes developing throughout his body. As I explained to him that he is going through post-nodular scabies at the same time and advised him to continue using the scabies products for a few more days and also gave some suggestion to heal post nodular scabies. I have not heard from him since that last call. Just 2 weeks ago-I decide to call him to check up on him. He was so glad to hear my voice-he sounds very happy and full of joy, and told me that he does not have Scabies anymore! He still continues using our Disinfectant to sanitize his environment on a daily basis. He also promised to order more once he runs out of our environment disinfectant. I do enjoy helping people just like Paul who makes my job very interesting. Hope I can help you and your family as well. Good Luck!
