Mites from a bird’s nest
So every now and then I get an itch on my ankle or leg and put the Q-Based Sulfinex Cream on and it goes away. My skin is highly sensitive and every time I have an itch, I figure it is something from the cats. As far as the Mitactin goes, I’ve had a bump form in my left nostril a couple weeks ago. Thinking it was one of those critters, I put Mitactin on a Q-tip and put it on the lump in my nose, which hurt. After doing this for two days, the lump disappeared. There was a place on the outside of that nostril where it looked like a mite got into. Now it is again on the other nostril and I am all out of Mitactin. That is why I ordered Mitactin. It all really works.
I am suspecting that I originally had bird mites under my skin. Someone had given me a birds nest (I am an elementary school teacher and collected nests). I had taken it and put it in a large plastic box where I kept other nests. Only thing, each of those other nests were in individual plastic bags. I was in a hurry moving and did not put the last nest in a bag. When I did remember it, I found at the bottom of that box black, small period size dots. I destroyed ALL the nests!
Then we got the kittens two years after our move. I still had a few bothering me once in a while. I think that perhaps the cats got these things from me, although I am doing great and have been so for the last 2+ years. I am thinking it was bird mites because my daughter called me last summer from family camp in Michigan, asking me what company I purchased my creams from to help get rid of my mites when I had them. I gave them your website. She told me that a 12 year old boy found a bird’s nest which had an egg in it. He handled the egg and nest for a while. A few hours afterward, he had a body itch he’d never experienced before and she thought it sounded much like my former experience. I am inclined to agree.
Thank you for Q-Based Healthcare! Truly, it saved my life. When I was first encountered with this problem, I tried everything and no doctor could help me. I believed they thought that I was crazy. I tried things like Kleen Free and another product and spent a lot of money. When I found your product, I was so thrilled to find out it worked! I took down a mosquito netting, which was over our bed four years ago and should have kept it. It was literally covered with black, small period like dots which I am sure came off of my body during the night. By the time I found Q-Based products, the critters had multiplied on my body a hundred fold and thus it took much longer to rid them from me. I am forever grateful for Q-Based products and will forever keep Mitactin and Sulfinex in my house for anything that comes along. Thanks, Q-Based!!! SS

Pam’s Struggle with Scabies
Have you ever asked the question, where did scabies originate from? Since I have been employed with Q-Based Healthcare for almost 3 years now, I have never been asked this question until I spoke to Pam. She is one of my customers that was having difficultly getting rid of scabies. I guess when you are infested by these little creatures, it makes you curious and want to understand them more. Possibly your doctor did not inform you enough about what scabies really are. Some people assume it is a horrible disease. Actually, it’s not, they are microscopic scabies skin mites.
Scabies is known to be very contagious, if you come in contact with an infected person or item for a short period time it can be contracted. You should be very cautious when you are traveling to unfamiliar areas if you do not want to come in contact with scabies mites. Scabies have been around for a very long time. They were first recorded 2,500 years ago and have been affecting humans ever since. Scabies mites can affect anyone, it does not matter what your personal hygiene is, your age or your race. They live on humans and transfer from one person to another.
Some Common Places where you can contract scabies are Nursing Homes, Hotels, Motels, and Crowded Public Places including your friend’s homes and theaters as well.
Pam from Austin, Texas called me for help the minute she found out she has scabies. She went on a cruise during the summer and brought back home a special guest with her — scabies mites. The scabies symptoms did not start to form on her skin until 3 to 4 weeks after the cruise. Symptoms of scabies started off under her bra line, and within weeks, the tracks seemed to be more and more. Worst yet, at night they seemed to be more active. She was constantly scratching at night and sometimes it would wake her up. Pam had to take so much Benadryl to relieve the itching and help to put her back to sleep. She couldn’t stand the torturing from these creatures so she decided to visit her Physician, who automatically diagnosed her with scabies. He prescribed her Elimites to use, but before she started the scabies treatment, she got curious and started to do more research on scabies and found our website. By the time she was through reading our website, she was glad she had decided not to use the products that the doctor had prescribed to her. She discovered Elimite is toxic just like Permethrin Cream. These are commonly prescribed lotions for scabies even despite their toxic properties.
Pam lives alone so she only had to worry about herself and her environment. Pam decide to call in and talk to me, she had many questions regarding scabies infestations. She purchased our Mitactin Scabies Combo, 32 ounce disinfectant, 32 oz. Eco Dust, and a disposable mattress cover. She wanted to make sure these little creatures will be completely gone from her life. She took every precaution and suggestion given to her, and sure enough after completing the scabies treatment and post nodular treatment, she was finally free. Even now, Pam still uses our disinfectant cleaner and in fact she still has our disposable mattress cover on her bed. She also ordered another set to bring it with her whenever she travels. Pam is not the only person that takes extra precaution, most of our staff here at Q-Based Healthcare do as well.

Scabies Symptoms Can Affect Anyone
“What are the symptoms of Scabies?” This is just one of the questions I get quite often from scabies customers on a daily basis. I am not surprised at all. Scabies mites are something that many people don’t really know about until they contract them. Quite often, many people who get scabies will either pick it up from a hotel, motel, nursing home facility, day care or any other public place that is crowded with people including the movie THEATER! “How scary is that?” Scabies infestations can make you not want to go to the movies anymore.
The best scabies prevention is to never sleep or sit in an unfamiliar place without protection of some kind. Luckily, scabies is curable if you treat it correctly using proper scabies treatments and proper protection. It’s extremely important to look out for TOXIC treatments like Permethrin Cream or Elimite.
As a Customer Service Representative, I am well trained on scabies and other skin ailments even for pets. Q-Based Healthcare is specialized in treating for scabies with their NON-TOXIC yet very effective scabies lotions. We can also provide knowledge to our customers about scabies, scabies symptoms, scabies treatment, other lotions for scabies and anything else you may need to know about them, even things that your doctor will not tell you.
Here are some scabies symptoms that you can look for:
-Tiny pimple like irritations in the shape of ”Z” or “S” like tracks
-Scabies will tend to affect the warm, humid folds or crevices of your skin such as wrists, between fingers, folds of your elbows or folds of your knees, armpits, chest/under breasts, waistline, inner thighs, buttock and around the genital areas.
-Intense itching, and pin prick biting especially at night
-Red rashes may start to develop due to scratching
-Severe symptoms, can make your skin crusty and scaly (This is called Norwegian Scabies)
It is common to have outbreaks in nursing homes and hospitals because the elderly and young children have a lowered immune system that is either compromised or not fully developed. If you contract something like this, don’t be afraid. No one should be ashamed of having scabies. It’s not a disease, and anyone can get them. If you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you can get scabies. It is important to be aware of scabies symptoms so that you can stop it in its’ beginning stages. I assist tons of people daily who have scabies so just remember that you are not alone.

Is Scabies Contagious?
I’m a customer service representative and my job duties are to consult customers everyday about their skin ailments, including but not limited to scabies, skin parasites, etc..,
When I first started here at Q-Based Healthcare, for some reason, the word- “SCABIES” scared me. I didn’t know what it was, but it sure sounded really like a horrible disease that is very contagious. Come to find out, it’s not a disease at all, but rather a skin condition that is caused by microscopic mites.
Scabies is very contagious! Their main hosts are humans, they cannot survive for a very long time without a host. Scabies are microscopic mites that burrow into the human body causing a pimple like irritation that appears in tracks or zigzags. Scabies Mites tend to stay in creases of your body such as wrist, between fingers, fold of your elbows, fold of your knees, waist line, around the buttock, under breast, etc..,-that’s probably because the mites are like other insects that are attracted to heat, come to think about it-those creases- that’s the warmest place on our body. All of these scabies victims are looking for a scabies lotion that will work for them.
I have customers, that I have spoken to on a daily basis, who have no clue what scabies is. I don’t blame them. Some even stated that when they go to the Doctor or Dermatologist, they diagnosed their condition by just looking at it, and they did not even attempt to do any form of skin test. How professional can that be? Some customers said that their Doctor seem to be disgusted with their symptoms and try to get them out of their office as soon as they can, by prescribing the most common TOXIC treatments that are well known, such as Permethrin Cream, Lindane, Elimite which all of these prescriptions are just forms of pesticides. Just imagine, putting pesticides that are formulated for “Pests” in general on your body. We all know they are harmful to your body and not just that, but any young kids or the elderly can really get sick from them. What I am trying to suggest is, ” Before you take or use anything, make sure you know the side effects and risks of using it” Are you willing to take that chance? You deserve non-toxic lotion for scabies.
I do understand that when you are being bitten alive by these little creatures that you CANNOT SEE, it must be horrible. I never have scabies, but where I reside, we do have mosquito problems around the Summer/Spring and Fall and to be bitten by these mosquitoes just drive me nuts. Before you make that attempt to even try those TOXIC treatments like Permethrin Cream or Elimite try looking for a solution that is NON-TOXIC, effective scabies lotion for yourself and your love ones. I am not trying to sell the products, but because it’s effective and not harmful to your health, I would recommend the All Stop Scabies Treatment to everyone. Good Luck!
