About Pubic Lice.
Pubic lice (often called “crabs” because of their crab-like appearance under a microscope) are six-legged creatures .Pubic Lice are most commonly infest hair in the pubic area, although they also can infest other body hair. In most cases, pubic lice are transmitted sexually from the pubic hair of one person to another. But pubic lice can be contracted in other ways, too — from infested clothing, towels, and bedding.

The above photo (pubic lice photo), and the rest of the current 10 posts are a selection from K. Ogawa’s 1910 book depicting 18 scenes in a typical Red-Light District of Japan. The roughness of the pubic lice images is due to them being printed by the collotype process onto crepe paper.Sometimes, pubic lice bites can also cause the infested area to become inflamed and discolored because of a reaction to the proteins in the saliva of the pubic lice. Constant itching and scratching can cause the area to become raw and lead to a secondary bacterial infection. Scratching also can help the pubic lice to spread.

How Do You Get Rid Of Pubic Lice?
Problem On Pubic Lice
I’ve only fooled around with 23 guys this month and I got pubic lice from one of them, and I am not sure who it was from. Any advice on how to get rid of it?
The same treatments for pubic lice as you would use for head lice, if it does not work go to your doctors.
Trim your pubic hair don’t shave it will be worst, how exactly I don’t know, but trim it down and like I said use the same treatments as you would use for head lice, if it ain’t working go to your doctors and get some prescription medicine.

What is the best way to get rid of head lice?
my little sister has had head lice for a very long time. we’ve tried everything from using over the counter lice shampoos, lice combs, mayonnaise, bed spray, and many many other things to try to get rid of it. once we think it’s gone, it just keeps coming back. it’s so bad, it’s now getting to everyone else in my house. is there a way to get rid of the lice?
There are several reasons that they keep coming back.
I see that you mention that you have only treated your heads.
Lice are similar to fleas in certain ways. They lay eggs, and also live in carpet (for short amounts of time), can hitch rides on animals (for shorts periods of time) as well.
Carpets need to be vacuumed thoroughly once a day for a week.
Sheets need to be washed in hot water and dried in a dryer. (Towels too)
Stuffed bears (stuffed animals) – if they can be washed, wash them in hot water. If they cannot be washed, place them in a trash bag for 1 week.
Couch/sofa furniture – vacuum it thoroughly once a day for an entire week
Brushes and combs should be placed in the dish washer (use the silverware rack) to be sure it kills the eggs.
If you have used it, laid on it, thought about laying on it, you need to use a spray, vacuum it or bag it for a solid week to be sure you stop the egg cycle.
Hair wise: Comb thoroughly on day 1, use some method to get rid of knits as well as the live lice. Comb through again thoroughly on day 3, and again on day 6. It is easier to do this in direct sunlight because the knits actually kind of ‘gleam’ or ‘sparkle’ in the sunshine. Silvery.
Also, as bad as it sounds, be sure to check leg hair, underarm hair, pubic hair, and any other part of your body (and tell your family to check their bodies too) for lice and nits/eggs.
Yes they will travel ‘south’.
