pubic lice are not white, they are brown and resemble small crabs about the size of a match head, they are easily visible to the eye and would not be mistaken for anything else.

How do I get rid of public lice?

Getting Rid of Public Lice

Found out I contracted Chlamydia from my husband soon to be ex-husband after this!!! I’m on the meds for that BUT today I noticed a single brown spec on my vagina which from a distance looks like a mole but after picking at it for a while, I think it’s public lice. Near the area it is also swollen and bledding. This isn’t too abnormal, I get ingrown hairs and have since I began puberty and the area will swell a little and bleed from time to time. Lice can move fast so it may be easier to spot the nits.
