regading my earlier question earlier about psoriasis does any one get it internally wot are the symptoms?
Findings on physical examination depend on the type of psoriasis.
Plaque psoriasis is characterized by raised inflamed lesions covered with a silvery white scale. The scale may be scraped away to reveal inflamed skin beneath. This is most common on the extensor surfaces of the knees, elbows, scalp, and trunk.
Guttate psoriasis presents as small red dots of psoriasis that usually appear on the trunk, arms, and legs; the lesions may have some scale. It frequently appears suddenly after an upper respiratory infection (URI).
Inverse psoriasis occurs on the flexural surfaces, armpit, groin, under the breast, and in the skin folds and is characterized by smooth, inflamed lesions without scaling.
Pustular psoriasis presents as sterile pustules appearing on the hands and feet or, at times, diffusely, and may cycle through erythema, pustules, and scaling.
Erythrodermic psoriasis presents as generalized erythema, pain, itching, and fine scaling.
Scalp psoriasis affects approximately 50% of patients, presenting as erythematous raised plaques with silvery white scales on the scalp.
Nail psoriasis may cause pits on the nails, which may develop yellowish color and become thickened. Nails may separate from the nail bed.
Psoriatic arthritis affects approximately 10% of those with skin symptoms. The arthritis is usually in the hands, feet, and, at times, in larger joints. It produces stiffness, pain, and progressive joint damage.
Oral psoriasis may present with whitish lesions on the oral mucosa, which may appear to change in severity from day to day. It may also present as severe cheilosis with extension onto the surrounding skin, crossing the vermillion border.
does anyone know of any home remedies for psoriasis?
its a skin disease
Ohhh, home remedies, you know there is this new medication that just came out for it. They’re over-the-counter too. As a matter-of-fact I tried them and they don’t do much but it’s supposed to take 90 days to work.
Anyone know of a successful psoriasis treatment?
My boyfriend has a small patch of what looks like psoriasis by his ear. We got some of this coal tar gel called Psoriasin but it doesn’t seem to be helping.
Anyone with this have any helpful tips or treatments?
If it is in fact psoriasis, you probably need steroid cream. Should get it checked out, though, because it might be something else (like skin cancer).

Home remedies for Psoriasis?
I have psoriasis. I am not too sure as to how you get it or if you are born with it, what i do know is that i have it. I am currently using Elecon ointment to get rid of the sores and i also am using QV cream as a daily moisturiser. I was wondering if there is anything else i could use to get rid of it or to minimize the sores i get. It is very uncomfortable and somewhat annoying at times. I would like to know from other people who have psoriasis what treatment they are under and un prescribed medications they use to treat it.
Thanks ![]()

I Are their any new treatments available for psoriasis on the scalp?
I have suffered with this condition for many yearsand thought there might be some new products available.I am currently using Elocon.
Steroids and dandruff shampoos are the still the main treatments. There are more potent steroids than elocon that you could use for a brief course, e.g. clobex, or you could just use the stronger steroid on the weekends.
Three brief studies were done on the use of the excimer laser on patients with scalp psoriasis. The excimer is a laser with a wavelength similar to that of ultraviolet B, which is a well established treatment for psoriasis.
Has anyone tried Psoriasin Multi-Symptom Psoriasis Relief Ointment for Intensive Moisturizing?
