Psoriasis please help who knows about this?

My Boyfriend has open sores that hurt and itch,what works for you to relieve it.Home remedies welcome!Does the sun help clear it up and what if he has fair skin,is it too risky using UV rays?

Have him lay in the tub,naked,and pee on him.

Anyone with psoriasis have any luck with treatments that did not cost a fortune?

I have serious psoriasis problems, nothing has worked other than just making it less red…..thick, red, raised and white patches on wrists, hands, knees, elbows, nose and in ears and eyelids….have tried dr’s, tanning beds and nearly every coal tar treatment we have found since I was a teen.

Years ago,when I was A child, my mother had a bad problem with psoriasis and no medication helped.The only thing that did help her greatly was salt water(from the ocean)Once a week she swam in the ocean, and we filled up jugs of water for her to soak in at home in the bathtub.Hope this is some help to you!

Can the severe symptoms of psoriatic arthritis be reduced?

After several mis-diaganoses since my first visit to hospital in September 06 – they thought it was fractured metatarsals/ cuboid bones – my specialist has eventually realised that I am a long standing sufferer of Psoriasis. Psoriatic Arthritis is now suspected after a bone scan and the blood tests should confirm it.

I am due to see my specialist again on 10th January and the foot pain/ difficulty in walking has now spread to my knee causing locking, extreme pain and clicking noises.

Even more tests and delays are now anticipated, possibly a MRI scan with a 19 week waiting list and a sample of fluid from my knee. Meanwhile I am only taking un-prescribed drugs – Ibprofen and Anadin Extra – and am worried that irreversable damage may be caused due to the delay in diagnosis. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Will I always suffer pain and disability? Why don’t doctors ask the right questions & arrange the right tests when you see them? I feel let down by our Health Service

The wait for MRI scans is rediculous! I had to wait for about 2 months and only got one that "quickly" as I could get to teh hospital at short notice!!!

I’ve tried many over the counter ointments and creams with no success.

I used to suffer with sebborich dermatitus. I went to the dermatologists, etc. It is similiar to psoriasis. I suffered worse during winter months, summer time when I was outdoors and enjoyed the sun, I had less issues. I did not respond well to treatments offered via prescription. I did find a vaulable use with Aveenoo lotion. Its oatmeal formula offered a big relief. It is non greasy and offers very good relief fromthe flaking, etc. Hope this helps!

Can laser from psoriasis treatment injure my inner ear?

What could cause a woman’s labia to peel?

If someone has begun peeling on the skin just to the sides of their vaginal opening and they did not tan naked and they are not sexually active, what could be causing the flaking skin. This person has psoriasis, but for approximately 5 years the Psoriasis Symptoms have only been present on their scalp. Can psoriasis spread? And could it be the cause of the peeling "elsewhere"? Any information would be helpful! Thanks in advance.
