“You know, I’ve had this itching all over on my back and I was wondering what it is, but I’m sort of scared to go a doctor about it because my back isn’t broken. I have been getting these little red patches all over and even on my head. It is sort of gross though, and it feels like I’m a lizard, but what is stranger is that only one hand is swollen in the joints and it hurts. What do you think it is? ”
“Well,ma’am. Going over your records, x-rays, and examining your skin, it appears that you have a case of Psoriasis. I wouldn’t worry, though, it is easy to take care of; a lot of people get that. Thank you for coming in here today and if the problem gets worse, don’t hesitate to come back in here to see if we can figure this out together. Tell the secretary when you leave that there is no charge for this visit. Take care and have a good day!”
