any good home remedies for psoriasis?
A sun lamp to give you vitamin d..cortazone cream will releive the itch..but I’ve found sitting under a sun lamp helps the most.

Have you tried the herb Sarsaparilla [smilax officinalis], or any creams based on anti-inflammatory herbal extracts such as chamomile, calendula or licorice, or a manuka honey cream….the latter in particular might be worth trying if you have not already done so. Do some research on these.

Psoriasis-Tab – Is it a scam or does it work?
I have read about a “treatment” for psoriasis called Psoriasis-Tab (psoriasis-tab.com). Has anyone ever bought this and tried it? Has anyone had any success? Most of all, does anyone know if it will genuinely help the symptoms of psoriasis?
Unfortunately there is no cure. Don’t waste your money on pills and lotions. There are some regular OTC creams that help alleviate symptoms.

So for more detail. My dad has psoriasis and as i know that this skin disease is genetic ive started to wonder whether mabey i could have it too. I am aware however that apparently this form of genetic disease “skips” the female gender and passes onto males, but what about exceptions? I am in the age in which the symptoms would start appearing. In the past months my elbows have becaume more dryer and my other elbow at the moment is rather red and has started to form a small crust. It COULD be an incident of very dry skin though so it isnt a definate symptom. My hairdresses has pointed out though that my scalp is also very dry and her first option was psoriasis. It isnt a normal form of dandruff (as this is supposed to be very small flaky) but it comes in more moderate scalp.
I hope someone will take more “professional” approach to this question and not just bash out saying ew gross. I am seeing the dermatologist some time soon but id really appreciate expierience from someone other than my dad. Thanks

but i work in a pharmacy and have people in with this all the time.
Start with a bit of moisturising cream where the dry skin is,
not cosmetic moisturising, proper emollients.
If that does nothing, try a steroid cream.
Hydrocortison cream or something like that.
Beyond that, talking to you’re doctor and dermatologist would be the only other thing to do.
