What’s the best treatment for scalp ringworm?

Dealing with Scalp Ringworm Problem

My 6 year old just had a haircut (his last was 4 weeks ago) and I see the circular raised marks indicating ringworm. Lamasil, Desenex and Lotrimin have been the otc recommendations on the sites I’ve visited. I’m waiting ’till his Doctor opens in the A.M.;but, any suggestions?

Gentian violet or crystal violet. It comes in a small bottle and I found it at Walgreen. I tried 60% of all the other stuff that the other folks did (nail polish, bleach (burned bad), iodine, OTC creams), but nothing worked–even after I went to the doctor and took lamisil and a cream. So I went my last alternative, the way my grandmother used to treat ringworm when I was a child.
