Tea Tree  Oil for Scabie

Tea tree oil is a very powerful antibacterial substance which can be used to treat all manner of scabie conditions. It is particularly well known for its’ ability to kill headlice. When using it for scabies, ensure that it is bought in the undiluted state as some solutions are ready diluted and will not work effectively.

For scabie, tea tree oil can be added to a warm bath, with around 25 drops being enough for a normal sized bath. For badly affected areas, place a few drops on a damp cotton wool pad and place this over the skin where the infection is at its worse. This should be repeated for 2-3 weeks.

Scabies Treatment

Another element of knowing how to treat scabies naturally is to ensure that you wash all clothing and bedding in as hot a wash as possible following treatment to prevent reinfection. If there are any items which you have been in contact with but which cannot be washed, place them in a plastic bad for a few days and the mites will naturally die.
